Employee Turnover at Casinos is a Companywide Issue That is Not the Sole Responsibility of Human Resources, Says Robinson & Associates, Inc.
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) June 27, 2007 -- The problem of excessive employee turnover at casinos is not entirely a human resources department problem but, rather, an issue that must be addressed by the entire property, says Robinson & Associates, Inc., a customer service consulting firm to the gaming industry.
Martin R. Baird, chief executive officer of Robinson & Associates, offers the following tip about casino employee turnover.
"Employee turnover is no more a human resources problem than an overdone steak is the fault of the waiter who delivers it to the table," Baird says. "When the topic of turnover comes up in executive meetings, everyone tends to look at the HR director as though the problem is his or hers to solve. Turnover is a casinowide challenge. Yes, HR is part of the situation, but every person in the casino, from the chief executive officer to the valet staff, has an impact on it."
To help casinos understand and deal with this issue, Robinson & Associates has published a white paper on casino employee turnover. Those interested in obtaining a copy of the white paper should e-mail Lydia Baird, Robinson & Associates' director of business development, at lbaird@casinocustomerservice.com or call her at 206-774-8856.
Robinson & Associates, Inc., is a global customer service consulting firm for the gaming industry. It helps casinos determine their Advocate Index, a number that indicates the extent to which properties have guests who are willing to be advocates. The company then implements its Advocate Development System in combination with the proven methodology of Advocate Index and best business practices to help casinos create more guest advocates and chart a course for growth and profitability.
