Chris is a recent graduate of Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government where he studied international security and political economy and earned a Master of Public Administration degree. He was also the Director of the Harvard Defense and Security Initiative and a member of the Harvard Defense Leadership Project. Prior to that, he was the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Blackwater Worldwide.

Chris is the founding Chairman of the International Peace Operations Association (http://www.ipoaonline.org) and a member of the World Affairs Council and Business Executives for National Security (http://www.bens.org). He earned his MBA from the College of William & Mary and has attended Harvard University's Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security.
