Position: Technical Associate

Duration: 04 Months Contract to Hire position

Job Description: Under direct supervision, provides clerical and administrative support to the Aon business unit staff.
Will set up files, copy, word processing (letters), process certificates of insurance, process incoming and outgoing mail & faxes, and assist Account Managers with proposals and binders and special projects.

Word, Excel, keyboarding (35wpm). Above average oral and written communication skills.

“AON Corporation, headquartered in Chicago IL pioneers in the fields of Insurance & Risk Management, Human Capital Consulting, Reinsurance domains. AON has a number of divisions and offices supporting these businesses all across the United States.

Due to diverse nature of their business. AON has critical needs for contract employees to be assigned to varied roles and responsibilities at various locations.

AON’s Expectations from Candidates Submitted by Acro :
a) Many AON Hiring Managers will hire based on the resume presented and the fact that Acro is representing the candidate. Your reputation and representation that you are fully capable of performing the job responsibilities that your resume states is very important as is our reputation for providing top quality people to our client. So please be prepared to potentially start the contract assignment without an interview.

b) After an interview , AON extends an offer to Acro either on the same day or within 24 hours, so that Acro can send the offer letter and setup the drug & background check for the candidate. The joining dates may vary from an immediate next day start to a few days. The best part is “if your interview goes well , AON would like to get you started ASAP”.

c) AON expects all the contractors working on the positions to adhere to the work schedule setup by the managers, including the break schedules. Additionally, In case of an emergency they expect the contractors to act professionally, and to notify Acro immediately and their respective hiring managers. Make sure when hired, to obtain the contact phone number for your respective hiring manager on your first day of work.

For the above AON contract positions, you will be an Acro employee and will be getting a pay check on a weekly basis utilizing an automated web based on-line time keeping system, the details of which will be provided to you once you get the offer.

We are a 2 person start-up company. We have purchased a company with 10 years history, very good credit rating, and at zero employees, in NorthEast USA. Since we are tight on budget and are working as full time consultants ourselves, we are unable to market and expand the company. We were wondering if there are any websites/resources (besides posting an Ad on a jobs website) which we can explore to communicate to potential IT services marketing personnel in the NorthEast USA, to see if we can work on a commission-only basis initially. Once we start serving 2-3 clients and place a few consultants, we can afford to switch to a salary + commission option. This can be a great option for a marketing person who has contacts in the market but would like to work from home or work flex-time.
