Information on military fitness training please?

Mazza asked:

How do personnel in the marines and army manage to get so good at running (CV fitness) and so strong at the same time and so quickly without ‘overtraining’

Run 5 days and workout at the gym combined with calisthenic exercise 6 days a week. When I was in the Army we did PT in the morning and when I was released at the end of the day I would hit the gym. there were many times on a PT run I vomited but you were not allowed to fall out (stop) of the run.

they aren’t, half the people in the army are overwieght and the other half are lazy. everyone looks for an excuse for something. ok i take it back, 10% of the time they actually do hard work
