what is covered in 6 Hours behind the wheel driver training for 16 year old?

Does the 6 hours include the time spent by the driving school personnel in getting the permit from DMV? I am in New Jersey USA

   The only thing NOT covered is experience!

   this time is useless, if you knwo how to drive a go cart your good! tests are common sense ! you fail your an idiot !

   no worries friend .
   the driving consist of just that , @ first city then onto the highway, and they will have you pull into parking lots to practice parking !

   The 6 hours cover the basics of driving in terms of handling of a car, as well as the rules the road.

   Some situations which should be covered are:
   - parking (parallel, perpendicular)
   - “k” turn and “u” turn
   - turns
   - traffic light
   - reverse
   - recognizing signs
   - highway - lane changing, entering and exiting
   - city driving- defensive driving techniques
   - road test prep

   According to NJ law, the 6 hours DOES NOT include any of the time spent at the DMV or at their office in order to obtain the permit. Best of luck!!!
