To see a basic check list see page 10 of the dmv guidebook at: Some situations which should be covered are: - parking (parallel, perpendicular) - "k" turn and "u" turn - turns - traffic light - reverse - recognizing signs - highway - lane changing, entering and exiting - city driving- defensive driving techniques - road test prep According to NJ law, the 6 hours DOES NOT include any of the time spent at the DMV or at their office in order to obtain the permit.
