I’ve heard that if Air Force personnel are training in an area where they’re required to stay in Army barracks/billeting, that they get compensated for sub-standard living conditions. Is that true?
Hey, don’t be mean. I didn’t make it up, I said I’d heard it. And I didn’t say it was right or made sense. I was just curious. And I’m sure it would depend on location, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
My BIL is an E2 in the AF and has a house with almost the square footage as his parents. My Army E6 husband and I just “upgraded” in Feb. from stairwell housing to a different apartment with “more” footage but less space, go figure. Our new livingroom barely holds our couch.
